Grand Valley East is a shortened version of the classic Grand Valley track in Gran Turismo used for beginner races om the game and slower cars. The full Grand Valley is far superior, but Grand Valley east can still pack a challenge when racing against friends and remains a fun track to drive with slower cars (as well as super fast ones) because of its challenge few corners and scary tunnel! @Cod3onlineplayer you do realize that law has been in effect for years (In if you actually read the bill and not just the Joystiq article) and its only for people who make profit w/o the publishers permission other wise its ok (they are just adding penalties (I think)). @THFCUK GT1 had the giant bonus of being the first title to spawn the genre of buying, tuning and selling cars in a massive world driving simulator game. Other titles were just arcade like. The sad fact now is that there’s no limits with games now so we don’t see HUGE jumps between titles anymore. The jump from Genesis to PS1 was fucking enormous in terms of where games could progress to next. RIP those days of the PS1, those games it had were epic. My fav ever gaming period.

Instead of trading paint with all the cars, in the championships I used to punt off the cars I hated driving against (the Impreza Rally Edition comes to mind).

back in the day, I thought GT1 was the most incredible thing ever… now w/ Forza 4 having 1,000,000 polygons per car….

Jesus this game is so ugly now. Believe it or not back in 1999 they had this on display at target and this old lady shopper saw it and was like, thats a video game? thats not real? wow! lol
