Classic Game Room reviews FIST OF THE NORTH STAR KEN’S RAGE for Xbox 360 from Koei. It’s Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors meets Fist of the North Star, the 1980′s born Japanese manga and anime series that takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Slaugher hordes of nuclear thugs in this awesome hack and slash advnenture game for Xbox 360 (also available for Playstation 3 PS3). Fist of the North Star Ken’s Rage gameplay is very similar to Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Ninety Nine Nights 2 and Sengoku Basara. Do not buy this game it’s crap, I’m a fan of the old 80′s cartoon and this does it no justice. There are only two different ways the enemy dies either his head blows up or his whole body. And they turn into chocolate for some reason. After two levels it’s the same **** over and over again. Avoid at all cost, a real let down for manga fans
I have this game and it’s really fun it get’s a while until you understand all you can do but has 3 diferent modes story, dream (wich is basicly a dynasty warriors ) and chalenge it’s not perfect but it’s good and it’s cheap.

I’m a Fist of the North Star fan, but it’s this review that drove me buy the game. And I’m thankful, it’s a good game!

i thought the game was pretty good, but was i the only one that felt the combat was a tiny bit slow ex. his punches and kicks at times, and i had a problem saving i would play for an hour straight get really far then i would quit shut it off and turn it back on and i would be where i was at the begginning… ??

I was seriously annoyed that I still died as Rei in my fight against Roah, irrespective of the fact that he never laid a hand on me the whole time. (Cutscene! Aaaaaand, JeniusRetard gets the Bloodletting Strike! OMGWTFBBQ??!!)
@FitnessReality 1.That was pretty accurate to the series though. The fights arn’t supersonic DBZ style, it’s slow and methodical. There are faster characters like Rei though and he was certainly faster than Ken was in game.
2.Did you complete a Level and then it made you start over? If it did, that’s messed up. I noticed a checkpoint system in the levels, but if you exit out of them it makes you start over.
Best Warriors game i’ve played. It has a huge amount of play time and you could easily get lost for hundreds of hours.
It’s an awesome game; music, and graphics as well. Most fun I’ve had in awhile. Surprisingly enough, they could of have actually added more playable characters if they wanted to, and finished the rest of the story. I think it would be really nice to see another installment of this game with a smooth 60 fps like Dynasty Warriors, tweak the moves for more practicality, and they could make characters like Ken, Raoh, and Toki more dominant. I found Jagi to be the most dominant, strangely enough.

Sounds not bad! I especially like the part with the babe’s *** on the motorcycle zoom in scene.
