@surestab that’s cuz this portable GB version was based on Super Street Fighter II, you can tell by seeing Ryu shooting his red fireball, Ken doing the flaming Shoryuken, and the SSFII character arts at the fighter select screen. It’s basically a portable Super Street Fighter II with only nine characters pretend as Street Fighter II: The World Warrior by using the same SNES sticker label. Super Street Fighter II was also released in 1995 so this game was based on that.

@JollySilver Heck yea, there was NO excuse for this, especially from Capcom, and the time it was made. Look at Killer Instinct on GB.. It looked and played amazing. Side by side it looked like both games were made in different times on different systems, same for the Mortal Kombat on GB. Rare was the only one who got it right, Killer Instinct was the best fighting game on the GB hands down.
