@Eekhoornstaartlolly now i also need to mention you may have noticed the revision 3 thing that popped up right at the begging as well as the sponsor ship from netflix maybe even a pre roll ad. this shows that they are getting payed for this, the show is making money. they have it as a video podcast, on revision 3′s website, and this is just one of many ways they distribute the content, so i doubt that they are super concerned about getting ” famous on youtube”.
The pace was too slow, the story was too weak. the acting ******. more?
having had 2 close encounters with interaction from the crafts….i do not think they are here to harm us….so this show is all NWO crap trying to further thier agenda
the show is amazing i don’t know about them ranting on the show like that. alex said that game of thrones was boring and he didn’t like it when the show was freaking super duper amazing and note i didn’t read the books but im in the process of reading the second one and all of them, just cause the show was amazing and the story lines are super awesome. so far i like FALLING SKIES
@TheLuciferSDevil I see. Sorry if I came over to harsh, it’s still my opinion though. I’m not a fan of this show, as I think the opinions part lacks…alot, I watched a couple more of their vids to confirm and sometimes I even wander if they paid attention watching the show.

The acting is wooden, the dialogue unrealistic, and we get that Noah’s son is his top priority we don’t need him to tell that to two people every episode. All and all it’s a big disappointment. Oh and can we get one frigging sci fi series without having religion forced into it? Cause really I could do without that.

The whole “Skitter” moniker is pretty lame, the aliens are uninteresting as well as the characters. Very close to canceling the show on my DVR.
This show has all the typical ****** bullshit! One worthless negro and one worthless asian. What about the racists but cool white dude who has to say racists crap all the time. Then the tough (RAPE VICTIM! ooh!) blond whose taken along to fight while the two “sub humans” are given orders to watch. Don’t forget the christian girl of color! And, the **** asian doctor, who both white heroes may end up banging! If aliens ever invade, find the nearest blond ***** to protect your worthless hides!
I’m a pretty big sci fi fan, but this series just isn’t really keeping me interested in it. The chracters in the series I could care less about. And some of the alien sound effects are just recycled screeches from velociraptors in Jurrassic Park films. Plus the CG effects really aren’t all mind blowing giving it a really bad Sci-fi Saturday night b-movie. There’s just something with those mechs that doesn’t look believable.
Falling Skies just has flop written all over it.

Agree with the show being “not realized” enough. Couldn’t help but compare with BSG all the titles. Toasters vs mecs. Skitters reminded of “prawns”@D9 .

I agree with u guys. I want to enjoy this, but have trouble doing so because of the lame acting. There is also to much cheezy epic music and to many corny emotional scenes that seem super fake and lame.
@dcman077 Over the top American cheese. Spielberg had to mention the Revolutionary War as a comparison to the Alien Invasion? Clearly he was smoking something when he saw a link there. I don’t think the Brits tried to exterminate 80% of the worlds population.
@MrRatedRRedneck The graphic novel is so much better. The walking dead series has so many new pointless characters that shouldn’t be in the show and some characters who should be dead. I wont give away spoilers but you know who you are. The whole part in the facility was bollocks. They should be on the road to the farm then on to the prison. Not talking to some nut job who blows himself up.
I´m in Germany so we get the episodes later.
When I first heard it would start I was excited about the subject and Spielbergs involvement…Then it started a nd seemed like a B movie…
But, as the story is evolving it´s bring me in.
I´m not giving up yet.
